Celebrated world-wide for his modern romantic jewels that push the boundaries of contemporary jewellery, Shaun Leane has redefined the standard of British jewellery design. Fusing innovation with exquisite craftsmanship, the House is known for a timeless elegance that epitomises modern romance.
Shaun Leane has created some of the most admired jewellery masterpieces of the twenty-first century. Leane began his career training at the bench in London’s jewellery quarter, Hatton Garden. This grounding enabled him to break entrenched traditions, and bring a fresh dynamic spirit to exquisitely crafted, fine jewellery. While working as a goldsmith, Leane began a long-standing collaboration with the late Alexander McQueen, creating provocative catwalk jewels that have become iconic milestones in the art of couture jewellery.
Since then, Leane has been responsible for creating a new genre of jewellery and award-winning collections. He has has worked on one-of-a-kind projects with, amongst others, artist Sam Taylor-Wood, Givenchy and Parisian master jeweller Boucheron. Described by Sotheby’s as “antiques of the future”, Leane has received recognition across the globe including Winner of U.K. Jewellery Designer of the Year, on four occasions, Walpole Best British Luxury Craftsmanship and most recently, Harper’s Bazaar Jewelry International Jewellery Designer of the Year. April 2020 saw the launch of Shaun’s eponymous book, published by ACC Art Books, which chronicled Leane’s illustrious career and celebrated the 21st anniversary year of his eponymous House.
