Criteria
The UK Jewellery Awards will have a two-stage judging process. In the first round, in order to be in with a chance of being shortlisted, you MUST answer all of the questions on this entry form.
If you fail to adequately answer any of the questions, or enter the wrong category, your entry maybe removed from the competition and not considered for shortlisting.
If you are using AI (ChatGPT, Claude or similar) to help you complete your entry, please ensure you still edit your entry, so it still sounds like you. Overreliance on AI, or entries that do not sound genuine may not be taken forward to shortlisting.
If you are shortlisted, and as part of the second stage of the process, you may then be required to provide additional information/financials/images/examples of product ahead of the judging days. Again, failure to provide information when requested, at this stage, could result in your entry being removed from the shortlist.
The UK Jewellery Awards reserves the right to move your entry to a different category from the one you entered, if the team deem that an alternative category is more suitable for your entry.
Hints and tips for completing your entry
Focus on the 2026/27 Year
The prestigious UK Jewellery Awards is an annual event. Therefore, judges want to see what your company has done during the 2026/27 year, that sets you apart from the competition.
Detail your innovations
In your submissions, set out for the judges what you did that was innovative during the period from 23 January 2026 until the closing date for the awards of 8 January 2027, rather than in other years or time periods.
Answer each question
Answer every question on the entry form as far as possible but do not exceed the word count. If a particular entry question is not applicable, please make this clear.
Use bullet points
Please complete every answer as bullet points
Adhere to word count and format
Please note if you go over the wordcount, or fail to answer in bullet point form, you may risk your entry being removed and not considered.
Interview requirement
If you are entering Emerging Jewellery Designer of the Year, Creative Jewellery Designer of the Year or Commercial Jewellery Designer of the Year and are shortlisted, you will be required to attend a presentation via Zoom on Wednesday, April 28, 2027. This is a compulsory part of the process and, if you are unable to attend, your entry will be removed from the shortlist.
Nomination-only categories
This year, two categories (Fashion Jewellery Brand of the Year and Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award) are by nomination only and you cannot submit an entry for these categories in the first round.
Confidentiality Assurance
All judges are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), so sensitive information about your business will not be shared outside the judging process.
