Osmium-Institute

We are the UK Osmium Institute and the go-to place for press and television to get information about osmium and its uses. We answer questions regarding all scientific and economic topics related to osmium.

Osmium is crystallized exclusively in Switzerland. In Germany, the osmium is certified, weighed and measured under high resolution scans. A unique identification code is assigned to each piece and entered into the global osmium database. Then, the osmium is delivered to UK.

Osmium is the eighth and last noble metal. The crystalline, non-hazardous form of osmium, also referred to as “osmium” on this website, is available for purchase only since 2014.

Who buys Osmium? Anyone with a portfolio containing precious metals acquires osmium as a tangible asset. We are the UK Osmium Institute and we are here to help you gain insight to a metal also known as sunshine element.
